 创新研究员、博士生导师、中科院动力大地测量学重点实验室主任、湖北省突出贡献中青年专家,所党委委员。

 现主要从事卫星重力、卫星测高、海平面变化、地球自转变化以及地表系统水(冰)质量迁移等全球变化问题的空间大地测量监测与研究。1997-1998年日本国立天文台地球动力学中心高级访问学者,2006-2007年美国Ohio大学空间大地测量学研究中心合作研究。主持和参加了国家863项目、国家自然科学基金项目、中科院知识创新方向性项目、国家航天集团应用项目等十多个研究项目。研究成果“气候对地球自转变化的影响”,2007年获湖北省自然科学二等奖(排名第一)。研究成果“地球自转变化及其地球物理机制研究”,1999年获中科院自然科学二等奖(排名第三)。
 

 

 

 

  

一)  面向科学前沿的基础研究

地球自转变化:主要利用重力卫星观测以及海洋、水文过程数值模拟和同化的资料,研究全球海水陆地水质量时空分布对极移受迫运动和自由阻尼运动(亚季节至年际尺度)的定量激发,并结合高分辨率的洋流和风速同化资料,充分揭示气候变化对极移运动的影响。对全球大尺度陆地水质量迁移时空变化的有限了解,制约了地球自转极移受迫运动物理机制的深入研究。进入21世纪,由于重力卫星、气候数值模拟和同化技术的发展,科学家能够更加客观地认识和理解陆地水质量迁移的规律,因此为地球自转变化的研究带来了新的活力。无疑,新的研究途径将根本改善目前地球自转变化研究面临的困难,有助于客观了解地球流体变化与固体地球相互作用的机理,并且拓宽卫星重力的应用范畴。2002年以前主要研究了地球自转亚季节变化与气象涛动的关联性、小波分析和希尔伯特变换在地球自转多尺度变化研究中的应用以及大气、海洋和地表水对地球自转变化的综合激发等问题。发现日长变化准50天周期振荡超前厄尔尼诺的特性、日长变化准120天周期振荡及其与厄尔尼诺的相关性、地球自转半年变化的时变性及其与厄尔尼诺和北大西洋涛动的相关性。
  
   地表流体质量的运移和分布的确定以及在全球变化研究中的应用:主要利用重力卫星观测以及卫星测高和海洋同化的资料,研究全球海水、陆地水质量时空分布和平衡。GRACE卫星观测的每月重力场系数变化反映了地球系统质量分布的变化情况,此变化主要来自水质量交换,因此可以用来估计质量分布引起的全球平均海平面变化。另外用卫星测高得到的平均海平面变化扣除由数值海洋模式得到的热容平均海平面变化,也可以估计质量分布引起的平均海平面变化。采用这两种观测手段得到的海水质量变化非常接近。这表明现代空间测量技术在监测大范围的水储量变化,全球水循环上取得了进展。

二)面向战略需求的应用基础研究

DORIS技术定轨定位系统在地学研究中的应用:学习和预研DORIS技术在定位、卫星测高和定轨研究中的原理以及有关数据处理的方法和软件;计划利用DORIS定轨、定位系统的全球观测资料,解算武汉九峰动力大地测量学综合基准站的三维位移,并与全球定位系统(GPS)、地面重力的观测结果进行对比研究。
